Clutching at straws...

I really must put up a new post, as the fabulous Enid one has gathered so many comments (smarm), I feel it is time I did something more!

As lots of chums here know, I'm still stuck in the 'pomp rock' years, and just to make some waves with several afficianados, I want to post a link to one of my favourite albums...

Fish has such a distinctive voice, he's a very clever man, and some of the tracks on here are just staggeringly fabulous!

Sorted! You're on the sidebar at last!

'H' is ok as a singer, he did fabulously well on 'This strange engine', which was autobiographical, and I liked 'Bridge' after hearing it all live! (Made again).

Some of the later stuff became a bit 'samey' though, and after 'Marbles', I sort of gave up...

When I bought 'Clutching at straws', I'me sure there was an other disc in the set, but can't find it anywhere! It may have been left in the player on a car I sold a couple of years ago, but 'Tux on' is a damn good song, so it's YouTube everytime!

These snags are becoming a bit of an obsession here!

Senora O'Blene is still fixated by 'Korkers', and I'm experimenting with some from a local butcher, who cuts out the rusk!

That's gorgeous, MC!

Bury is Senora O#Blene's favourite city - I'll ask her where the market is, although it's a bit of a hike at the moment!

MrMC's "Mockingbird" link is excellent, and the comments led me (eventually) to this:

And another example of "Bands who can still perform (and sing) live" is this:

You may recall I mentioned about little Hitlers in Parish councils on that "other" site, I recommend you have a quick look at the Parish council meeting I have posted in my blog, it's hilarious and has got 3 million hits on Twitter now apparently

Storm Darcy today ! I should commemorate by fluttering some feathers on a certain site..if I could be bothered..

It reminds me: why is a woman like a hurricane?
Warm and wet when she comes and takes half the bloody house when she goes
