For some time now, I've wondered why I think of Led Zeppelin every time the ultimate business guru of the universe, Robert Peston, appears on TV to impart fragments gleaned from his huge personal knowledge of running global conglomerates and multi-national companies, and that vast experience, combined with understanding the intimate details of intricate trading experiences in diverse environments, is allowed to drip through our screens.
We are expected not to stare at the screen too much, because presumably, we are bowing our heads in wonder for most of the few seconds he is delivering his perfect analysis of everything that is wrong with commerce.
But this is why I always think of Led Zep...

The Pest on the telly. I always change the channel when this patronising tit comes along with his pompous pontifications. Happily though I do not contribute to his over inflated salary.
I wonder when he is going to be charged for facilitating all by himself the collapse of a certain bank .

When he was on HIGNFY, he was almost human, and I've conversed with many people like him, but when he does a Beeboid moment, he just emanates implausible naivety.

Same here Elecs, You just kinda know that there'll be a beeboid lefty approach when he whines on, so as always, we think the opposite of what he says.
I've just herad recently, that he actually has a speech impediment of some sorts, so - sorry for that, but then why is he the guru of business in a machine which is supposed to perform for, and on behalf of - er - the country?
