"B*****"...!

Mr Elias Sagtrouser, whom friends here will know as the Avuncular Purveyor of Building Requisites, mentioned the other day that one of his 'Clients', (well, if you can call a 'gardening contractor' a 'client', without wondering why all he does is drive a ride-on mower around a lawn and get paid for it, when all the difficult jobs like lopping trees, digging trenches for serious shrubs and other dirty/skillful manual tasks are assigned to civil engineers who normally manage railways or build dams), has been considering buying a new pick-up truck.

As his 'client', (ha ha; still makes me laugh...), has finally decided what to get, this is what really made his mind up...

That's really funny. I'd love a red-neck truck.

Indeed a sturdy vehicle - unlike that other unfortunate Ozzie truck of a few years ago that could not take an extra bottle of sherry "for the girls". I wonder how many crates of XXXX that Hilux can manage?

Hiya Pips *waves*, it just brings tears to my eyes each time, there are several more, but this one takes the prize for the best!

I just cannot stop laughing uncontrollably each time I see it...

Reevers, I very vaguely recall this, but is there a link at all?

The dog at the end of this just creases me up!

Scrobs: Yes, there was a link here on U Tube entitled "Castlemaine XXXX: Sherry for the ladies".

The write up says: A great old Australian commercial, and a refreshingly frank, male-oriented piece that plays on the Aussie stereotypes, while at the same time, reinforces them!

However, when it is clicked on it only shows a message saying it has been removed owing to misuse violations. Pity.

Not to worry, there are lots of "beer commercials" all over the web; just Google those two words. Bottoms up!
