Old joke - new stage...

When I first heard the actual joke, it was funny enough, but this has just reduced me to tears of laughter...

Turn up the sound as usual!

Killers; you wouldn't believe that it was Bob Monkhouse who first told that one (to me and several thousand viewers that is), on TV, obviously before he died...

His version was an Eskimo on a ski-sleigh and was totally different, but this one just cracked me up!!!

First good belly larf I've had for ages! Well after Gordon Brown's utterances about Britain not being broken.

Top stuff after all the depressing nonsense going on around us. Nice one!

Morning Ranter - good to hear from you again!

You're right about needing some laughs - and the last post too - it does get depressing round here doesn't it; especially as Mrs S's Super Maserati Punto is in for it's MOT at Staplehurst Station tomorrow...

Keep those dark glasses on Billy; just say it's OK will ya...

Thanks Iders - do you happen to have a copy of the scene when Eric Sykes has just sawn through the restraining wires on the Japanese plane in Those Magnificent Men etc etc, and you tell him 'not to expect treats all the time...'

That really is incredibly funny...

Good gag.

The Swedish chemist joke is my favourite.

"Ah vant to buy sooom deee-oor-derrrant"

"Yes, Sor. Bouwl urr aersol"

"Neu - ah vant it furr undar ma aermpets."

Ranters...!

Hurrah!!!

Thanks to your guiding influence, Mrs S's Lotus Sports Vanette passed MOT with flying colours!

I'd reccommend Bill at BH motors any time - and so does everyone in the area who I've spoken to anyway.

Thanks Daisers - you actually live closest to the real thing of course - penguins I mean don't I...

Unfortunately, we have the actors in this little sketch, disguised as a government!

Elecs - thanks!

Your joke is also one of our absolute favourites too!

Did you ever see the 'Abu Bin Hadem, may his tribe increase' sketch at all?

That one still has me weeping with mirth...
