I drive a Suzuki Alto around the boonies. I leave most things behind as they get stuck at passing points. I'll probably die or be horribly mutilated in a slow-mo crash though.
True representation of modern rural Britain though. Most of the people round here speak Brummy (in Devon). The rest are cockney wankers.
that is the way it is here at the moment...we have had flood watches for the past 2 days and today is another...i have to go to some rural places today and will take hubby's SUV as my car won't make it!
Brenchly and Matfield were the lanes I mentioned in the post last year about the big storm. The row of trees I wrote about used to be on the left-hand side of the road, just outside Matfield, going towards Kippings Cross...
For gods sake doen't get anywhere near some of the speeding gits, because they won't have any tax or insurance, so all you will get is incoherent abuse, and another 'interesting but revolting' viewpoint of inbreeding...
But I think you've had to tolerate that already in the post office!

Elecs; Sorry you have a myriad on accents round there too; we get all the foreign lorries churning up the roads as well...
Daisers; take some wellies as well...
I may (may...) do a post on driving in floods one day - thanks for reminding me!
Thanks Fleeters; it came via an estate agent, so expect it to be something like that...
