Eras come and go...
This just amazes me!
Such tranquility and charm, and so it seems impeccable manners from all the actors! The whole cast would be well over a hundred years old today - I wonder how they felt!
We were only saying the other day, that had one been born around 1900, there would have been not one but two world wars to cope with, plus the depression in between!
Piccadilly is never going to look as tranquil as it does here, but there would have been more fag ends then with fewer Mcdonalds cups and Red Bull tins!

People quietly going about their business. Then something went seriously wrong, and it wasn't the war.
To my eyes, despite the fact that London was a lot grimier then, I still think it looks far better than it does now.
