Scrobs has decided to resign from the cabinet.
Everyone else is doing it, and as for trying to get us out of the EU for ages, (we even voted to join back in the seventies, so that was a cock-up), I've had enough mucking around.
Just say to all the Brussels lot, 'Sod off', and leave it at that! My letter of resignation is in the post, with a second-class stamp on it, and by next week, I'll be an ordinary bloke again!
It's easy when you try hard enough...

That's the problem though - they never intended to try hard.
TBH, anything to do with politics has been one of those facts of life that's always there but my little brain just can't get to grips with it. Whatever one party says the other one always slates it - why? 'Cos it's tradition maybe, but it gains nothing. When the country voted for Brexit, it became a lot like looking at buying Christmas presents in August as in "We've loads of time to sort it all out" then lo and behold! Ooops, is it that time already? Anyone with any nous would have seen this coming. Now they're all of a tizwaz not knowing who's the best one to make some sort of sense from the hurriedly-printed mish-mash of vague words which I am led to believe don't mean a bean until you open the can of worms.
Absolutely, Mr H! Their 'jobs' came far before the country's wishes.
"When the country voted for Brexit, it became a lot like looking at buying Christmas presents in August as in "We've loads of time to sort it all out"" Perfect analogy, Goosey!
We all sighed with relief, but that was until the politicians got their grubby paws on the subject, which is enough to screw anything up!
Ha ha ha !
To tell you the truth I thought I was voting for a cliff edge. Here we are two years later...
Still on the edge of the cliff watching the various tidal storms erode its crumbling foundations beneath their feet. Ooo-er, should've gone to Specsavers!
You know how weak the people we voted in, are, Elecs!
Bloody lemmings!
They always do, Goosey.
Really bad organisers of deckchairs, and incapable of running a whelk stall...
