On the Toms front I saw some miserable half-dead looking specimens in Wilkos and feel moved to scrape together some pennies and rescue them. I've got one of those little platic greenhouse things that fit a growbag but the tent bit is at he back of the shed and I'd have to climb over half my children's life to get to it - must have a clear out!
Pips, can you get anywhere near a garden centre at all?
Wilkos toms will work of course, but a gc will have a better control on stock!
Good idea to pop them in a grobag as well, but outside ones will suffer a bit this year, as the growing season will be so short - unless we get an Indian summer, when it will be too long...

Ah - I see they've moved on from my gate post.

That must be the park's "Ladies"; the chaps would have just gone behind the nearby hedge.
Good thing that, Mr H! We really need to re-paint ours soon as well!
Thanks Blues! As you live in a world of street trees, you may appreciate the need for more of them...:0)

That is a technical issue Reevers, and one which I will take up with JRT, when she has stopped barking at something in the garden...!
