Today Mrs Scrobs and I are celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary!
Apparently, it known as 'The Lace Anniversary', so, to prove that romance is indeed not dead, we're giving each other a pair for our walking boots and going for a picnic with JRT on The Firehills near Fairlight...
The pic marks the spot where the it all started back in 1972!

Congratulations Mr and Mrs S!xxxx
Aww what a lovely idea! And just the weather for it too today. Lovely and fresh.
Happy Anniversary, Scobs. Best wishes to you both xx
Congrats to the two of you, too many people fall by the wayside and miss the beauty of a life together.
Thank you so much for your good wishes.
Mrs S put in a mild complaint that I went to sleep after our long walk (which including getting lost, and having to retrace at least 56 miles of steep steps), and after a tincture or three, dozed off again during HIGNFY...
And we had to light the fire last evening too!
By God, we live the high life these days...;0)
Are you were no doubt looking for that nude beach at the bottom of the cliffs... or did you dally in the old quarry there?
Contratulations!
Slow down man you will surely burn out.
Modo; Young Man!
Yup, the tired, addled, brown flesh pieces and lumps were on full display... and well coated with Col Sanders' special recipe (it's a family tradition for the Firehills...)!
And, yes, I know the quarry, but that's a few yards further down, and we stumped for the reservoir dogs' stroll, but missed the turn before the 56 miles of vertical steps!
Thank you Blues, btw, you're becoming something of a financial guru, so please take it easy, and let me know when there are squillions to be made eh...?
just email Lilith, or Pips, they know where I live...
...thank goodness - have to keep the youngsters in sight these days...
Hey, you're not wrong there Thudders!
But why're we all on this mortal coil then, shurely not to stayput...?
True, but the trick is to shuffle off at the very very last moment and dear old Britain needs the likes of us for a good while yet.
Thudders, I'll make you a promise that I'll still be here in a hundred years time...
Collect?
