Well, I like his singing, because he emphasises with intelligence. There's nore on of the 'popular' pretentious squealing. He pronounces with huge feeling, and I'd like to meet him one day, like I would Peter Gabriel, but there you go...
The boy can hold a tune and entertain an audience....job done.I ran a venue as my second job untill quite recently and imet the chap several times....decent enough to all the staff and crew so he was looked after.
I just like the seriousness which he seems to apply to the songs, very much identifying with each verse with quite a few divers mannerisms, and nuances.
I'll try and find some other stuff since he left Marillion.

He's certainly original.

He does a pretty decent 'Boston tea party' a la Alex Harvey which is why I warmed to him.
Hey that's great Thudders! Haven't heard that one before! Youtube's version is an original!
Fantastic guitar work there as well!
Do you remember 'Fleeters'? He was an aficiando of the guy as well!
here.
Link to song here.
They were often accused of being a Genesis tribute act but I liked their progressive rock style - even when it had gone out of fashion.
Pity that Fleet of Worlds hasn't posted anything for over a year.
