For Lils and Elecs...

...
Before I 'really' met Mrs S, I used to join a lovely group of people at every leisure moment in our local, and afterwards, we met at various homes where we would carry on singing, laughing and usually having a few more glasses, but funnily enough, never the 'recreational' stuff...

This was the flip side of Albatross and I immediately loved the crisp guitar and simple, pounding rhythm.

So I dedicate this to two friends, here!

Aw thanks !

I remember a band which used to play at our boxing club fundrasers - called Albatross. And a great rendition they did of it too.

Scroblene, thank you! *Hugs*

Fleetwood Mac was the common room soundtrack. Gulp. Smells of toast and boot polish deeply associated :-)

I was made to learn huge tracts of the Ancient Mariner when I was 9. Never been the same since.

Lils and Elecs, thanks for that,

It just happened to come up on the screen and I hoped you might like it; a) for the guitar and b) for the fresh blues rhythm!

Good documentary about Peter Green and Fleetwood Mac on BBC4 recently - part of their blues season. V. interesting!
