A Winter's Tale - part 2...

At about the same time that our holly was being nicked, there was a similar situation occurring in a township more than a few miles from here...

Well, Jabez and his common-law oppo, Garthro, were out to do a bit of pilfering, and saw this specimen Gazunder tree, just begging to be taken away and ground down to make pegs and stuff!

Garthro's nicked winch wasn't powerful enough, all the hangers-on were speaking an unusual dialect and being generally lazy and unhelpful, so Jabez put the van in gear...

Oh dear, how sad, never mind - as we always used to say.

Mrs S - How nice to have you back here...

I was just thinking only yesterday that it had been a long time since I'd checked what you were up to, and here you are!

As you say, 'Never mind'...

As that nasty Mr Punch of wife beating, crocodiles and sausages fame, always used to say: "That's the way to do it!"

Scrobs, are you sure that's not you in the hat, inspecting the damage to your truck?

Reevers - they were incredibly thick - not stealers like them what pinched our holly...

Daisers - having seen your site again, you get the chocolate mouse for the best films and yarns around...

Lils - as usual, you.ve sussed the actual happening.

Why can't you be just normal, and accept that sometimes, just a few nondescript words here will suffice???

Marvellous! Mrs Ranter watched it too and said 'Well at least no one is laughing'. Over here that would be the cue for a million mobile phone cameras to be produced and the baying false laughter and the near epileptic spasms of the chav underclass.

No one took much notice of the near death of the driver did they?
