For Daisers, Trubes, Pips, Lils, Merms, Hats, to name but a few...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13yhhjClzwA
And see what dancing means to some...
(And, of course, I must not forget Mrs Tuscs, Mrs Elecs, all the other sweethearts, Bunty Binstock et al...)
...and while I'm at it, (well, not actually at it if you see what I mean), Autumn is peering over the wall, so a change of colour is called for...
ps - can anyone tell me how to make the link to Youtube above, into a single word please? I bet it's easy, but that doesn't mean I can't cock it up at some stage...

When you are in the youtube page look to the right, no your other right. You will see a line of script with the tag "embed" ,highlight the text and right click then hit copy.
When you compose your post, in the text box right click and press paste... Then you should have the actual clip in a nice pretty box when you publish..
sorry about the criminal punctuation, right brain left brain conflict tonight..
scroblene...wonderful...here is the one i was talking about...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlgAj_29Z7U
I don't think we are too far off each other's expectations of dance...:)
Scrobs' new look is Louis Vuitton!
Very Footballers' Wives.
Barnsers - that's very helpful - thanks very much...
And for some reason, I'd left you off the blog roll - that will never do and I apologise!
Daisers - marvellous stuff that!
It's just the movement skills that are so well presented; Lils has another post (in the last one I did) with Ginger and Fred...
Thanks so much for that!
Iders - well, I just got fed up with seeing a green splodge every time I logged on, and somehow I couldn't change it to brown!
I seem to remember that ED had a party dress the same colour when she was five, so family values run deep here - even if that Lewis Vitriol bloke thinks he knows what will make him a few francs...
Nowt wrong wi' change - as they say in't Cloggies!
As for WAGs - wash your mouth out! The last match I saw was between Luton and Barnsley in 1967...
I can dance as well - I was going to say that you need to be logged into Youtube via your google/blogger account to make it work easily...
Thanks Mutters - I'll wind up the clock and see if it works now...
I ADORE watching Fred and Ginger, Scrobs. I could watch them dance for hours...and she's very funny.
Thanks Barnsley !
I always wanted to know that.
Now I can get jiggy.
Scrobs - If you just want your link to appear as a work you must:
highlight your chosen link URL holding the left button on your mouse.
When it is all blue click the right button of your mouse and one of the options will be 'copy' click on that.
Go to your blog composing page and type the word 'here' and highlight that with the left button on your mouse.
Go to the globe(with chain) on the strip at the top of the composing page and left click on that
a strip will come up and you then right click - pick the option 'paste'
(Check the left hand end of the URL that appears in the box to ensure that 'http/' does not appear twice - if it does you must delete one of them)
Then 'OK' ... I think, can't quite remember.
Hi Scrobs, thanks for that, she's such a cutie.
Following EK's instructions after paste just OK and publish post. Preview your results. If you get stuck pop by my place and I'll do the instructions in word and email to you. It's called a 'hot link'. Baby!
PS: you can ctrl+C and ctrl+V to cut and paste too.
If the video allows it, you can use the "embed" code next to it in YouTube. Paste that into your blog post then the video appears right there for your readers' delectation!
You know you are a traditionalist when ELECTRO KEVIN is giving you tech-advice ;-))))))
Blue - I don't understand that: I told EK how to do it and Raincoaster told me. She has neat little 'how-to' thingy's on her blog. She even runs courses. Paid courses, obviously.
Scrobs - no-one's mentioned the Gay Gordon.... have they?
Well, Guys and Gals, thank you all so much for this good advice - its much better than going to a forum and getting 'geeks' putting their kind hearts and souls into the answer, and then I sit for about three hours wondering what on earth they're talking about...
Elecs - now I know how you get some good stuff on your posts - many thanks!
Pips - I may do that soon, 'hot links' are everything I need at this present time - many thanks...
Many thanks too Blues - I managed to get the Chimp joke up alright, as the blogger page has a picture of a film icon, and I also had a Tiny URL icon somewhere, but it seems to have been stolen...
Lils - Isn't Ruby Keeler super in that clip..gorgeous even...
ps I love the new look - reminds me of what curry houses used to look like before they all went upmarket. Mmm currrrrrrrrrrrrrrry.
I liked Blues comment and wondered if I could find some Indian music to go with the idea of curry (in his comment you could see the steam) and I tripped over this. The chap is so camp I couldn't help laughing and the girl sounds as if she's been inhaling helium balloons.
Bluesers...I'll have you know that flock wallpaper was in vogue when I became a junior member of the ale-swigging classes...
In fact, Boycie and Marlene were technical advisers on several projects where pub and restaurant walls were just aching to be covered with the stuff!
D'you know about how they used to do the sane to Cortina roofs then? Definitely 'The Sweeny' days...first time round...
..actually they could do 'the sane', (small river near Paris, in France Del..)
Try same and watch the effect...
Pips - that's George Michael and Kate Bush in their early years!
Y'can always rely on 'Amin, C, D, Amin' for a bit of prancing dancing, it's helped many a struggling band!
(One of my chums bought her ex's old sports car, and I like being a passenger in that...)
BTW, Mrs S makes the best curries ever - but for some strange reason, I detest the band 'Earth Wind and Fire...
I do like the new look Mr. Scroblene. Very appropriate for one in the autumn of his own years.
P.S.
Did you take consultation on your new image?
Hey Scobs: I 've slipped up, i thought I'd commented on this blog days ago but obviously hadn't!
Anyway wonderful clip, I thoughly enjoyed it, brings back fond memories.I used to sing song songs from 42nd street, many moons ago when I was in a choir. We used to sing lots of songs from all the great shows and some classical stuff too.
Thanks for the memories!
Di.xxx
Oops.....Typo...
'Sing song songs' erm, I meant 'sing songs'.
I'll be better after a little aperitif, now the sun's gone over the yard arm.
Chin chin my friends!
Di.xx
