F**k off Sainsbury...

I can't understand why Sainsbury's have decided to become such soft, leftie plonkers.

They're market traders, for God's sake! They take your money, cheat you any way they can, stuff you with unwanted rubbish, but then claim to support a criminal crowd of ne'er-do wells!

Forget it! No more shopping in that great, ugly smelly 'citadel' in Hastings!

(Sources say they got planning permission after years of chucking money around - it was ever thus)!

Done for!

I've only ever shopped in Sainsbury's when there was no convenient alternative: their stores are horribly claustrophobic. I used to say the same about Morrisons, but they seem to have improved their layouts and decor recently.

Well said - that's what they are and it is time they understood that. It's not even a particularly good supermarket, it isn't cheap and the quality is no better than Tesco.

I have to make a confession here...

We had to go to the opticians in Hastings recently, and as we needed some basic comestibles, we called by the local Sainsbury as it was on the way home.

I must add that this was before I'd seen their ridiculous 'Gerald Ratner statement' saying that if we didn't like their BLM stance, we could shop elsewhere. It's a shame really, as we could easily have gone to Tesco, where they just get on with what they do much better than better than Sainsbury!

Of course, we will not be shopping there again!

There are so many cheaper supermarkets out there, Mr H, I'm not sure which ones you have in your area, but at least there must be a choice!

Any sanctimonious wibble coming from anyone here gets none of our cash!

Waitrose in Chester, costco and Morrisons in New Brighton mainly because huge waves crash into the car park which makes shopping a bit of an adventure.

I worked out exactly where you took one of your photos of the Mersey a while back, Thud! Gurgle Maps showed the exact car park!

Sad git, aren't I...
