The week so far...

  1. I so agree and I'd love to bang their heads together. Here we all are after democratically voting to leave yonks ago and we're still nowhere nearer knowing how and when we'll get out of this complete and utter Slough of Despond. Some MPs are dancing a merry old reel and swapping partners as they go and no wonder Mr Mogg was slumping in his seat the other day and so would I, because he must have felt rather dizzy watching it all unfold and crumple around his feet. Whose going to pick up the ensuing detritus is anybody's guess, but I bet the jolly old taxpayer will have to fork out somewhere along the line. Let's get our independence back and take it from there.

  2. Don't forget Bercow, he's one of the problems too.

  4. Perfection, Goosey!

If you're being paid squillions to be an a******e, then be prepared for most good people to query your motives.

I despair too. My MP, Greg Clark, whom I've met on a few occasions, deserves to be deselected, as he's done absolutely nothing for us here, despite a great big photo shoot three years ago!

There'll be tears before bedtime in T.Wells come the election!

  5. Bercow!

A little Napoleon in a wig is that prick, Mr H!

You're right - he is a little sod and when he goes, like Gorbals Mick before him, nobody will shed a tear.

  6. Thud, I'm actually underwhelmed at the moment, but never fear, Scrobs keeps his powder dry...

  7. Having watched the news today showing the shameful and utter disgraceful behaviour in parliament, I cannot believe that some of these cretins were elected to be an MP who is there (supposedly) to voice the views of the people they represent. Good manners together with some sense of sanity and dignity has unfortunately gone down the old Roman cloaca and there it will stay floating amongst fatbergs and the ever-present gluttonous rats. I feel we're in some sort of Zombie Land or in the film "One flies Over The Cuckoo's Nest" and they wonder why more people are driven to taking anti-depressants! Let's see how it goes when Berk-oh's gone (BTW, he was also slumping in his chair today so let's see if that's on the news tomorrow though I doubt it) and I'm certainly not holding my breath for any sudden release from this Brexit farce.

  8. It's so bloody awful, isn't it Goosey!

I despair of the 21 meek, weedy, disparate sods who crept away, and as one of them is my MP, Greg Clark, T.Wells may well be the real shock result with a Brexit MP soon!

  9. Rats and sinking ships come to mind there, so now Scotland's decided Boris' actions were illegal where does that leave us all and what's the Queen going to say next time she meets him? The whole mess is strangely riveting so tomorrow I'll be glued to the TV to see how they wriggle out of this one!
