Presently, I am trying to make friends outside of Facebook while applying the same Facebook principles.
Therefore, every day I go out on the street and tell the passers-by what I have eaten, how I feel, what I have done the night before, and what I will do tomorrow. Then I give them pictures of my family, my dog, of me gardening and spending time cleaning my car. I also listen to their conversations and I tell them I love them.
It works! I already have 3 persons following me: 2 police officers and a psychiatrist.
Hahahahaaaaaa!
ReplyDeleteTwo police officers and a trick cyclist??
ReplyDeleteGoodness me! That is already more than the [alleged] number of readers of these comments (Copyright "Going Postal" - or that other place that nobody visits anymore).
May I suggest you offer these passers-by fried bananas or curry puffs, a sure way to make friends and get a crowd gathering (in these parts anyway!)
On the second day of Christmas,
ReplyDeleteMy Facebook sent to me
Two big coppers
And a shrink to follow me.
What will the third day bring?
It's gone up to four now, a local 'Darwin' has also started mooching around...
ReplyDeleteFried bananas, Reevers? Never tried those!
ReplyDeleteI'm just looking at freezing garlic at the moment, does that do the job as well?
Thereby stands the question, Mr H!
ReplyDeleteLuckily I got out of the real Bookface before it became impossible to do so, like it is now on LinkedIn!
Well I wouldn't like to see a pal go hungry, so try this which tells you how to caramelise them (goes lovely with a bit of ice cream!).
ReplyDeleteYou can also just peel, cut, dip in a basic batter (as you would for fish), then fry until crispy.
Bon apetit!
Sorry, that anon above was me. Don't know why the name did not appear...
ReplyDeleteSounds excellent, especially as I'm permanently on a fruit diet...
