About this time of year, when the doors are bolted and the windows are shut...
There are several pieces of music which fit this time of year, and, just for the lovely run-off at the end (which goes on for quite some time), I think this song is up there with the best ones I can recall...
TQ Scrobs. Yup, I think I liked that effort(although I could not make out one word of what the singer was trying to convey!). If you get fed up with that and want more weather related music - the lady on the telly tells us that your bit of the country has a surfeit of water at present - you can always try Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony or Vivaldi's Four Seasons.

ReplyDeleteCan you have another go please? Ta vm.
Oooops, sorry about that, Reevers, I have to get on another machine to sort it out, so will do so later today!
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, please talk amongst yourselves...

ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend at your allotment!
Pretty horrendous for some, Reevers. Mainly the worst of the weather is on the west side of the UK, but pretty bad in most places I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteIt's all these blasted wind farms we have to pay for...
A brilliant band. Amazing how many young lasses are now called Kayleigh.
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely correct there, Elecs.
ReplyDelete'Kayleigh' was such an iconic song!
I do really think that you and I like similar music, but watching your links and clips - you're so much better at it than me!
