For Piglet... (and Mutley)

JRT often sits with me (sometimes on my knees, wich mokies tyippimg defecuult), and as she jumps up unawares on several times a day, she knows roughly what's going on in my field of commerce...

Here she is checking my expenses, and disbelieving every entry... and also staring down her nose at the bank manager...
When I got home last night after the Varsity match, JRT and I shared a large glass of Beaujolais to celebrate Cambridge doing the right thing - as expected! (She doesn't rate the Gamay grape luckily...)! Mrs S also supports Cambridge, otherwise JRT's leapings, ears-backings and boundings would have been less than appreciated.
It usually takes me five minutes to get in the door when she's on guard, (JRT, not Mrs S...), luckily, I wasn't too late back, and still capable of a conversation...

  1. Hey Scrobs,

    I hope you are well?

She's a very cute little dog!

I wantwun-nowwww ! He cries fists clenched stamping feet.

In fact that's all I ever wanted - a log cabin, fishing rod, geetar ... and a dawgie.

How did life get so complicated ?

  3. Hmm, reminds me of my late doggie who would always come running up to me and collapse in a heap and wait to be stroked. Dogs are great!!

  4. Oh, thank you Scrobs for posting these lovely pics of the hitherto mythical JRT :-) I have shown them to Pig and he is in love (although he has a good humping style he doesn't always get the right end, or gender so she is probably safe for a while..) Let me know if you want puppies in a few years and we can sort a date ;-)

  6. Hercs; Yer right, but she runs rings round us sometimes! Maisy sounds marvellous - loyalty seems to rub off well!

Elecs; And so you shall! 'Ping'...magic wand...Look behind you...!

James; she's learning to lie in the crook of my arm with her legs in the air for the same reason!

Lilith my love; she had to have the bits uninstalled because if you look closely she was a rescue dog, (Blue Cross), twice actually, and they do this as a matter of course...

Daisers; she's in charge, the postman has to chuck the letters in from about three yards away!

  7. That's a shame Scrobs. We could have produced puppies for The Hitch and E-K. And I want another one in a couple of years ;-)

  9. Scrobs: What a great little dawgie, and so very pretty. I wish we could have a dog but DT is desperately allergic to them .
We have a fab Cat called Chloe, she too likes to sit on my lap when I`m using my PC.
We have a new Granpup Pug called Rocco and Chloe will be meeting him at the weekend, that should be interesting as she`s never met a dawgie before !
Hope all are well In the Scrobs household, no doubt a hive of activity in readiness for Christmas.

    Di xx

  10. Trubes...Hi there...

We had a lovely cat named Chloe! She was our first cat, and the girls and us loved her to bits!

Her best act was to do 'silly backs'. when she would leap around like a tuning fork, and make a funny face; then escape everywhere. She was a lovely puss; sadly knocked over outside our house and had no chance.

I might get maudlin and post a story about the next cat we had one day - depends on whether Younger Daught is watching this...it's her story as well...

  12. Hi

My first visit to your blog and you have made me laugh. I started blogging as the typist for my dog Charlie (I am allergic but Charlie is poodle so he's fine). Now I have a blog of my own which seems to have bought out my Attila streak!

    Happy blogging.
